This Privacy Policy explains how Tetyana Sinychka ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Skill English mobile app. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run your account and track your learning progress:

• Account identity: when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
• Profile: display name, profile photo, language (locale), and country.
• Learning data: experience points, level, streak, your determined English (CEFR) level, in-app gems and hearts, test and lesson results, and referral activity.
• Technical data: basic request information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

• Create and manage your account.
• Save and display your learning progress, levels, streaks, and rewards.
• Tailor content to your English level.
• Operate leaderboards and referral features.
• Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Sign in with Apple and Google

We use Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In to authenticate you. These providers share a limited identity token (and your name and email) with us. We do not receive your password. Your use of these services is also governed by Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use third-party advertising. We share data only with:

• Authentication providers (Apple, Google) to sign you in.
• Our hosting and infrastructure providers that store and process data on our behalf.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Data retention and account deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account in-app, or contact us to exercise any of these rights.

Children’s privacy

Skill English is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
